East Meets West Extravaganza

On May 14th, Halton Region Chinese Canadian Association (HRCCA) presented its East Meets West Extravaganza at The Meeting House-Oakville in support of the new Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. This charitable event featured with premier performances showcasing talents, richness and cultural diversity of the community, such as the Oakville Children’s Choir, international award-winning pianist Coco Ma, the Toronto Chinese Orchestra, Yuanyin Guzheng Music Group, Kaleidoscope Chinese Dance Group and Apex Chinese Drumming Team.

The Steinway Spirio soothed the several hundred guests during a silent auction with live music.

Over $28,000 was raised during the gala, and we were absolutely thrilled to be able to participate and contribute to such a wondrous occasion!
